Thanksgiving Luncheon

Aloha Brothers and Sisters,
On behalf of the Ladies Philoptochos Society - Aloha Chapter, you are warmly invited to our Thanksgiving Day Celebration to be held at Chirgotis Hall.
- What: Thanksgiving Day Celebration
- Date: Thursday, Nov 27th
- Time: Luncheon starts at 12:00 noon
Let's come together to celebrate this special day with gratitude, laughter, and delicious food!
To help us organize smoothly, we've created a Thanksgiving Celebration Attendance and Donation List Items
By signing up, you'll help us make sure:
- Confirm Your Attendance: To ensure we prepare enough food, please sign up if you plan to attend. This helps us accurately track the number of attendees.
- Review the Sign-Up Form: We've listed all necessary ingredients, beverages, and disposable utensils to ensure we have the right quantities. This event is not a potluck; please strictly adhere to the items on the SIGN-UP FORM to prevent excess and guarantee a well-coordinated feast.
- Volunteer Your Time: We are seeking volunteers to help with food preparation, cooking, serving, and cleanup. Your hands-on support will be invaluable in making our event successful.
- Contribute Effortlessly: If your schedule makes it challenging to participate directly, or not able to bring ingredients from the list, you may consider making a monetary donation to assist with essential supplies. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a significant role in enriching our collective celebration.
Your participation truly makes a difference — it's not just about the meal, but the spirit of togetherness that Thanksgiving represents.

Philoptochos Donation Presentation
Mahalo to National Philoptochos Society and the Aloha Chapter Philoptochos Society for donating $48,000 to Kapiolani Medical Center! The donation will be used to purchase electrocardiogram (EKG) machines for Kapiolani’s future Pediatric Heart Center. The local chapter of the Philoptochos Society, also known as the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, has been supporting Kapiolani for nearly 40 years. Critical care transport, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), oncology care and pediatric surgery are just some of the programs that have benefited from the group’s generosity.
Philoptochos societies put on bake sales and other events to raise money and have now contributed a total of $188,000 to Kapiolani. We are grateful to the National and Aloha Chapters of Philoptochos for their incredible support over the years!
Meetings & classes are conducted via Zoom.

καλώς όρισες. Welcome. E komo mai. 歓迎 ようこそ. Panangsabat. Bienvenidos. Добродошли.
Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Pacific may sound like the grand title of a church reserved for a specific ethnicity, but we are proud to say that our congregation is the most diverse Greek Orthodox parish in the United States. We are Christians of Pacific Island, East Asian, European and African ancestry. We're young and old, rich and poor, well-educated and not-so-well-read, who are unified in our love for each other and our Lord Jesus Christ.
