7th Sunday of Luke/St. Nektarios the Wonderworker; Philoptochos Meeting

Philoptochos will have a tray collection this Sunday in honor of the Feast Day of Saints Cosmas and Damianos to benefit the philanthropic programs and charities of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, such as Balukli Hospital and nursing homes, schools, shrines, and parishes. Thank you in advance for your generous donations.

Dance Group Performance

Nisiotopoula Younger Greek Dance Group will perform in the Social Hall on Sunday, November 23, at 12:45 p.m. for about 20 minutes in our Costumes from Greece.

2026 Ecclesiastical Wall Calendar

Complimentary calendars are now available in the narthex for parishioner families, (one per family, while supplies last). A big mahalo to Tom Sofos for sponsoring the calendars again this year!

Singing the Divine Liturgy

With Fr. Alex’s blessing and the Choir Ministry’s support, professional vocal coach, Georgine Stark, will conduct vocal sessions for all those interested in the congregation. One-hour rehearsals are two Wednesdays per month at church starting Sep. 10th at 10 a.m. Donations accepted to support this effort.

An Orthodox Catechism

Dance Group raises funds throughout the year via their Recycling Project.

Please see the Blue Bin near the women’s restroom upstairs or reach out to Dianna to transfer your Recyclables from your car to her car in the garage. Mahalo to all our Recyclers!

The Capital Improvement Construction Committee (CICC) is being reactivated and recruiting will commence starting Sunday, April 14, 2024. Please see Cleopatra (Cleo) Kritikos if you are interested. 2025 Coffee Hour Signups

The New 2025 Coffee Hour signup sheet is posted outside the Social Hall door.
Each individual, group, or family is requested to sponsor a coffee hour one Sunday per year,
- or to consider making a monetary donation, and the ladies of Philoptochos will prepare/serve it on your behalf.
- This will allow us to continue our tradition of offering food and coffee during social hour. Mahalo!
